About Me

I'm Darian and I'm a 28 y/o black freelance artist based in Virginia. I love to draw my OCs whenever I can as long as art block doesn't get to me. I guess you can say my overall subject of art can be best described as a psychological slice of life.I'm also obsessed with writing stories about my OCs as well, and I have a website that's currently in the works.I tend to draw suggestive art (and sometimes full NSFW) so please be aware of that! Even though my art is suitable for most audiences, it will also have dark themes ranging from different experiences with abuse to mental illness, so again, please be aware.I get really nervous around people so I apologize if I don't interact at times. I try my best to because I would love to try and connect with more people :)

By commissioning me, you are agreeing to my Terms of Service.

Discord (available 24/7. I must add you myself due to my preferred settings.)

Email (sporadic, but will respond quickly if possible)

General Terms

All of my commissions are Personal Use only.Clients must be 18 years of age or older to commission work from me. No exceptions.I ask that you please keep all conversations professional and respectful.Details regarding design, pose, and expression must be established before the sketching phase.I will refuse your commission request if I feel uncomfortable working with you or your idea.I highly discourage and frown upon the act of others copying, tracing, and reposting my artwork for any reason.I retain the right to post my (watermarked) commissions publicly to social media or for my portfolio. If you wish to remain anonymous, that’s also okay.Minting my artwork as NFTs (non-fungible token) is strictly forbidden. My work, whether commissioned, pre-existing, and future, cannot be minted by any individual. This includes adding my works in AI generated databases.

Payment

I only accept payment through VGen and/or CashApp (if applicable) in US Dollars.Work on a commission will not start until payment is received.Please let me know when you submit your payment.Base prices will increase based on complexity and/or add-ons to the commission.

Revisions

Sketching phase: Four free corrections. Please be thorough to avoid additional changes.Flat color phase: Color corrections are free, but any line changes at this point will either cost extra or be denied.

Refunds

Full refunds are only available if a commission has not been started, or if I exceed my six month limit. No refunds are given after I begin your commission.Do not request a refund due to an inability to manage finances or obligations. Please plan accordingly before submitting a commission request. Repeated requests for a refund will result in being blacklisted.You are required to contact me when you need to cancel a commission request.You are not authorized to issue a chargeback for any reason. Purposefully issuing a chargeback without contacting me will result in immediate blacklisting.

Delivery

The ETA can range between 1 month (sometimes sooner) and a maximum of 6 months after the initial payment. Factors such as communication, complexity, personal life issues, for example, can lengthen the process.I do not do commissions based on specific deadlines so please do not commission me if you plan on having one.Please note that I don't always work in order, and that I work with whatever's easiest for me first.Please be very patient with me because I will have dry spells at times.I will upload your completed commission (watermarked) via Google Drive. Depending on our form of contact, I will send the link there. The file will be available for 30 days prior to deletion, so please download it as soon as possible. If you need the file again, just ask me anytime.

Usage and Rights

I maintain all intellectual and proprietary rights to all works I create in all forms, including, but not limited to: digital, traditional, and print (if applicable).Commercial use of my artwork via reproduction and usage is prohibited without my explicit consent. I currently do not offer commercial rights.You are allowed to repost the artwork on your social media with the proper credits/links to me (softdhampir, the artist). This includes using my artwork as banners, pfps, thumbnails, etc.You may print the artwork for Personal Use only.You may not claim my artwork as your own and removing my watermarks.

Commissions

I only accept commissions through VGen, so please check back for updates on when they're open. I'll make public announcements via Instagram, Twitter, and my Discord server.I'll also accept commissions in between official openings, mainly if there's something important (ex: bills).
